Downeast Dressage is pleased to provide the following services:

 

 Lessons:

An individualized experience to refine and progress the students comprehension and application of classical dressage principles.   Depending on the student’s interest, lessons may incorporate cavaletti, gymnastic jumping and trail to round out the rider’s skills and versatility. 

At Bagaduce View Farm: $45 private; $30 semi-private.  $10 for use of Downeast Dressage schoolmasters.

Training:

Developing the horse’s recognition of and responsiveness to the aids of classical dressage, resulting in improved conditioning and athletic development.  A comprehensive program may include ground work, cavaletti and gymnastic jumping, and trail work.

At Bagaduce View Farm:  Weekly – $250;  Monthly – $850

 

Clinics:

Single or Multiple day events developed to meet the educational desires of a group.  Your program will be designed to include your choice of mounted lessons, in-hand and lunging, ground work, theory discussion and demonstration.  Typically charged at lesson rates plus travel.  Contact Michelle to develop your program.

 Horse Purchase Consulting:

Assistance in locating and evaluating prospective horse purchases. This is a non-commission approach to finding the right horse for the client at the best price, with an emphasis on the education of the buyer in equine assessment and the prospect market. Contact Michelle to discuss.

Horse Sales & Marketing:

Assistance in marketing and sales of your horse. A custom approach that can include training, showing and/ or marketing materials to best present your horse to prospective new partners.   Contact Michelle to discuss.

 

 Presentations, Lectures, Discussions:

 Judging:

Offered for Dressage, Eventing and Open Shows.

Daily: $45 per hour plus travel. $250 minimum

 

 Show Coaching:

Individualized preparation for and assistance at shows. Contact Michelle to discuss.
